How to Cook a Beef Tenderloin

This is how to cook a beef tenderloin

You will need the following ingredients:
- beef tenderloin
- olive oil
- garlic powder
- pepper
- aluminum foil
- a shallow baking pan.

You can use any spices you wish, but the pepper and garlic powder are traditional for the dish.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line your pan with aluminum foil, then place the roast on top. Rub the meat with olive oil and sprinkle on spices. Cook for about an hour or if using a meat thermometer, until it reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium rare, 165 for well done.
